Wherever there’s World Vision, we need you!
Whatever your skill set, World Vision can use your help.
Volunteer opportunities vary across our organisation. Some require specialist skills, while others need loads of enthusiasm and elbow grease.
Volunteering positions can run over the long or short term. Either way, you’re playing a role in the fight to end global poverty.
You can volunteer in our national headquarters in Melbourne, State offices (located in every capital city) or out in the wider community.

Community volunteering
This is your opportunity to engage directly with your local community and help promote World Vision’s work through:
Have you seen a World Vision child sponsorship stand at your local shopping centre? Many dedicated volunteers help out on these stands for a couple of weeks each year, and usually for specific campaigns.
As a Christian relief, development and advocacy organisation, World Vision believes that living out your faith is essential in helping overcome poverty and injustice.
‘Faith and works, works and faith, fit together hand in glove.’
James 2:18
Working with your church, you can partner with World Vision to raise awareness about poverty, perhaps by organising a church group to participate in the 40 Hour Famine, for example. Find out more ways your church can partner with World Vision.
