Annual Reports and Program Evaluations

World Vision Australia Reports and Evaluations

Regular and transparent reporting on our activities, operations and performance, both in Australia and overseas, is an important way we demonstrate our accountability to others.

Through scheduled evaluations and reviews of all our programs and projects, we assess progress, constraints and effectiveness – and change in people’s lives. We use insights and lessons learned to improve new and existing work.

Program Evaluations

We are strengthening evaluation of our programs to generate robust evidence of effectiveness and impact at scale. With initial focus on our Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP) portfolio, we have introduced standardised evaluation approaches across four thematic areas:

  • Climate action and regenerative environment
  • Food security, health and nutrition
  • Economic empowerment
  • Cross-cutting themes: gender and disability inclusion, child protection and education

Meta Evidence Briefs

Our Meta Evidence Briefs summarise findings from Meta Reviews, which pool together program reviews and evaluations. They allow us to make broader conclusions about how our programs work across different contexts and settings. We use findings to build a long-term knowledge and evidence base for programming approaches and to demonstrate the impact of our work for scale-up opportunities.
