Thanks to World Vision supporters, Esther’s school has
become the top-performing school in the district.
Unfortunately – Esther has to walk 8km to get there.
If you were a young girl and had to walk to school,
what would you be most afraid of – being attacked by wild animals,
getting lost or getting caught in a storm?
What Esther fears most is being assaulted, abused
and attacked by men.
World Vision plans to build two more satellite schools in the area so bright,
young girls like Esther don’t have to face the risk of rape to get an education.
