When the project started in 2005, the city of Raipur was already attracting large numbers of unskilled labourers from rural areas, resulting in fast growing slums. Many children in the community were malnourished and living in unhygienic conditions, with limited availability of drinking water. Education standards were low and education simply wasn’t accessible for many children.
Thanks to your support, children in the Raipur community have improved access to quality education, child protection, healthcare, nutritious food and their families have increased incomes.
