US rock band THIRD DAY headlines at Make A Difference Tour

Platinum-selling, GRAMMY and Dove Award winning rock band THIRD DAY will headline at World Vision Australia’s Make A Difference Tour with special guests NEEDTOBREATHE and Australia’s Levi McGrath from 11 February 2015.

Playing shows in eight major cities around the country, the tour marks THIRD DAY’S return to Australia after eight years and NEEDTOBREATHE’S first major tour of the country.

THIRD DAY front man Mac Powell said the band was excited to be returning to Australia once again.

“We’ve always enjoyed playing for our Australian fans and look forward to getting back there in February,” Mac said.

“We’ll be playing all the favourites plus some new songs from the album we just finished, called Lead Us Back. I believe this is the best batch of songs that we have ever recorded and I can’t wait to share them live!”

World Vision Australia’s chief executive, Tim Costello said it had been a considerable feat to entice such high calibre and popular bands from the USA to Australia’s far shores.

“We are thrilled to offer music lovers across Australia an evening of quality entertainment with a purpose,” Mr Costello said.

“Partnering on the Make A Difference Tour with first rate acts THIRD DAY, NEEDTOBREATHE and Australia’s own Levi McGrath is a privilege.”

World Vision supporters will have access to an exclusive ticket pre-sale before the general public on-sale date.  Also available is a VIP package including premium seating, pre-show meet and greet and photo opportunity with THIRD DAY.
