What having a choice means to a child

A life without choice in Uganda can be harsh. Children are without parents and conflict has devastated parts of the country. Children like Musa face the threat of child trafficking in their community and lack access to clean water. But at a choosing party Musa chose Junior and Juliana. Musa looked up at the photo of Junior and Juliana’s smiling faces and chose them to be his sponsors. “I like their t-shirts too,” Musa said, in what was likely the first choice he’s ever made.
