Children of Romania

In 2009, the Children of Romania program ended - after 18 years of providing a lifeline to Romanian children at risk of neglect and abandonment.

Children of Romania provided more than 40,000 Romanian children and adults with care and practical support. And the outcome of our care is widely  recognised: there are now far fewer children being abandoned by their families.

The success of Children of Romania was only possible because of the support of so many generous Australians. In our final newsletter, we've put together a small montage of the children the program has helped, and we invite you to read our final success story. This is a time for celebration - and a time to thank the many Australians who gave so much.

The final and preceding issues of Children of Romania are downloadable from the list below.
