National Sorry Day occurred on 26 May during National Reconciliation Week.
This is a time when all Australians are invited to learn more about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories, to share what we’ve learned, and to help Australia grow.
World Vision is committed to supporting supporters and staff on a journey of reconciliation. We continue to engage Australians in the reconciliation movement and in our work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
“Reconciliation starts with every Australian, and every Australian organisation,” World Vision Chief Advocate Tim Costello said. “World Vision believes that supporting Australians on a journey of reconciliation is essential to wellbeing and all Australian children enjoying the fullness of life.”
